Qatar is the calmest, cleanest, safest option in the Gulf — Fridays at the masjid, museums for the kids, zero stress about crime. My honest reservation: it's a company town. Without a strong job package the math hurts, the community is smaller than Dubai's, and everyone you love is one contract away from leaving. Wonderful with a good salary; hard without one.
